Executive Development Programs (EDP)

Overview

Backed up by superior academic team, course-developing-and–designing personnel, and profound humanity environment of SJTU, EDP is a special institution of School of Continuing Education, to design customer-oriented non-degree programs for top managerial administrators and entrepreneurs to undertake continuing education and life-long education.

EDP provides the learners with a variety of brand-new teaching methodologies such as presentation of core units, case analysis, business simulation, sand map deduction, face-to-face discussion, and team project. EDP also organizes a series of study activities such as outdoor exploration, academic salon, workshop visit, study tour, etc. The teaching lectures and study activities enable the learners to focus on the bottlenecks encountered during the process of management and operation of enterprise and personal career development, to break down old conventions, to widen their outlook, and to improve their managerial skills and leadership wisdom constantly during the process of learning, seeking for antidote to bewilderment and making friends.

By the end of 2006, there are 3600 plus students enrolled in the EDP programs.
